Forget the Cy Hawk rivalry: when it comes to dogs, I hope we can all agree they are indeed our best friends. Hawkeye basketball player Cordell Pemsl has been through a lot the past year, suffering a season-ending injury, a medical redshirt, and knee surgery. Maybe his dog Lucy is an unofficial therapy dog! Either way, we're happy to see he brought Lucy to meet the media yesterday. The world would be a better place if our dogs were with us everywhere!
