This is a once in a century date. Was it on your radar at all? I know it was for about 3000 couples getting married today--including Charlie Dissell and Brandi Smith of Ankeny. But the biggest date for weddings was 7/7/07 when over 63,000 couples married! More info is in today's DM Register.

I know you hafta watch what you're posting on FB, but sheesh. Do you think it's reasonable to fire her and not him over this. Or is it not a big deal at all?
Here's a recipe the whole Lugnut family enjoys thruout the football season --and even beyond:
1 pound ground sirloin beef
1 cup chopped onions
3 (8 ounce) cans Tomato Sauce
1 (8 ounce) cans Diced Tomatoes
1 cup chili without beans
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can dark black beans
1 (12 ounce) can beer of your choice
4 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
1) Cook and drain the ground beef
2) Place back on medium heat. Add onions and half can beer.
3)Stir while cooking til the onions start to become translucent.
4) add tomato sauces and garlic.
5) When mixture starts bubbling add remaining spices, beer and beans.
6) simmer for one hour.
Enjoy served with grated cheddar on top.
