Halloween, the holiday that never dies.... bwhahahahahah.

Seriously.  Last weekend the adults celebrated Halloween.  Someone in a bear costume urped on himself and passed out in the shower here at the Bus Station.  Lucy Lugnut's date, we think.

Then the kids were all out last night for Beggar's Night in central Ioway.

Now it's everyone else's turn as Holloween goes into its final lap.  Is there another holiday that rolls this way, or what!  That's why it's one of our faves.

So I saw that Holiday Nog is now in the grocery store.  Usually I don't like it when stuff gets into the stores waaay before the holiday.  Not in this case. 

Nothing goes better with egg nog than either rum or whiskey.  So what do YOU spike your nog with?

Lotsa stops on The Bus route coming up in the next few days:  First off, Saturday the 15th we're at Iowa Speedway in Newton. It's the American Ethanol 200, part of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Spectator gates open at 12:15 and we'll be there til racetime at 7pm.

If NASCAR isn't your thing, then listen up for Cyclone football on 100.3 The Bus.  Gametime is 7pm, coverage starts at 5.   We'll be rolling our regular music program online and at iHeartRadio during the game.

Next Wednesday we'll stop off at Valley West Mall from 4-6 with the Allegiant Airlines folks.  We'll be giving away a trip to a vacation spot of your choice and more.  Details are here.
