Illusionist David Blaine appeared Yahoo's “The Daily Shot” Monday and totally blew away hostess Ali Wentworth so much that she hit on him. David also talked about when Harrison Ford kicked him out of his house because of a magic trick he did there as part of his new TV special “David Blaine: Real or Magic.”
See the trick and interview here:
Hey I think I saw Jimi Hendrix outside a store downtown!
And is the Elvis picture not creepy?!
The Cyclones pulled off an upset over Michigan yesterday, but the tornadoes in Illinois were big news too.
Washington, Illinois got hit directly. Here's some video. Dad stays upstairs with the video til the last second, the family goes into the shelter. Is it like this at your house?
This is the aftermath in a video taken with those new Google video glasses. This guy walked around and what you see is unbelievable.

Heading into tomorrow's game the Cyclones are 1-8, assured of no bowl for the first time in three years. The line on the game is Oklahoma by 24. Iowa State already has lost more games than in any of the previous 4 seasons under Coach Rhoads. Yeah, the team is banged up. But the attitude in practice remains positive.
Grant Rohach will start Saturday against Oklahoma. You can catch the game at 11, pregame coverage starts at 9 Saturday morning on 100.3 The Big Team Bus.
Fred Hoiberg's MBB squad takes on the Big Ten's Michigan at 4pm on Sunday. Pregame starts at 3:30. Both teams are 2-0 for the season. On offense Michigan pulls down 75 points per game, ISU 79. Should be fun!
I'm a big Rush AND Family Guy fan, dig the show, Seth McFarlane and especially "Ted", so when I saw that Rush did a Family Guy parody on their forthcoming live package, “Clockwork Angels Tour”, (on DVD/Blu-ray and CD now in stores) Ihad to check it out.
Neal Peart beanie--haha!
The project was filmed and recorded last November at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas
And they brought along a STRING section. Trippy.
Shocker: Jenna Jamison is going back to the porn business. All the sleazy details here. Reminds me of my cousin the stripper. <<facepalm>>
Iowa State Cyclones are the pick for a win by a touchdown this weekend up at Jack Trice. We'll carry the game here on the Big Green (and cardinal and gold) Bus. Coverage begins at 9:00am, kickoff is at 11. We'll stream our music program on iHeartRadio, though.
Meanwhile on the basketball end of things, coach Hoiberg's squad takes on UNC Wilmington Sunday at noon.
By the way, ever heard of the "Ace Flipper Option?" It was used in a high school game last week. Watch the ball change hands 3 times in one play!
Why would you want to put on a parachute and jump out of a perfectly good airplane? When it explodes in flame and the wing falls off. Here's the pilot on NBC's Today Show talking about what happened. See this intervie and video of the midair collision that ended well here:
