The Bus' Ultimate INDY Experience

ANGELS FOR SAM
I want to thank all that participated on 6/13 in the 4th annual Angels For Sam Bike and Bus ride against cancer. It took some hearty bikers to brave the weather. Those that did, you're the best! All that rode the buses did an equally fine job as well raising high dollar for the Zust family! I'd also like to thank the establishments that participated, including The Main Gate, The Norwood Inn, Old Chicago, The Crowz Nest, and Kenny's Pub in Waukee. Your hospitality was A-One!! Indeed a great time for a great cause!

I CAN'T GET ENOUGH MINIMALISM
I've been told by "higher-ups" I don't blog enough. That I'm "supposed to let you know what's going on." I said how about returning the favor?
(Without geometry, life is pointless)
I admit, having a front row seat here at the Bus Garage for watching how the traffic would handle the new striping on Ingersoll was like going to a NASCAR race just waiting for an accident. So far so good...Keep up the good work!
(To err is human. To blame it on someone else shows management potential)
Have you noticed our governor seems to show up at a lot of major sporting events? Kind of like the guy back in the '70's and '80's with the rainbow wig.
(Beer doesn't make you fat...it makes you lean...against doors, walls, etc.)
Would you want to work for a company that wants to regulate your private life? Speaking of, I read where a person was amazed by all the "smoke breaks" employees were taking and couldn't fathom how they were getting any work done. So, what work was this person getting done by watching them?
(People who think they know it all annoy those of us who do)
I've belonged to the tea party movement for years. It's called men's club at the golf course. Every week we "tee" it up and "party."

HOOPS
Busriders, some would say we are in the midst of the best sports week of the season...the first week of the NCAA hoop tournament (I can't call it March Madness, The Big Dance, etc without paying a royalty fee). Employers...please remember no work will be done in your offices by your employees starting Thursday around 11am through the close of business Friday. Employees...please remember sports gambling is illegal. Also, stay away from the "trendy" teams and too many upsets as you make your selections. Or you can do it scientifically like I do. Make your picks based on who has the best looking uni's or the most tats.
If you attended any of the games at the boys state tourney last week, did you happen to notice what approximately 90% of the songs were that played during time out? 70's disco! Did you also notice that most of the kids in the crowd knew all the lyrics? Hmmmm...
One more BB note. Iowa fans...remember back in the 60's and 70's when Iowa City was a basketball town with a football problem?
